A Christ-Centered Community

    Love God

It is through a better understanding of God’s love for us that we can begin to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.

    Learn God

God is revealed through Scripture, Experiences, Reason, and Tradition. In small groups we learn, pray, and share in life together as we grow in our faith.

    Serve God

Motivated by love for God and knowing what Jesus has done for us allows others to see Christ in us as we help serve in our community and the world.

    Share God

We are called to go and share Christ's message. We strive to empty ourselves and let God fill our hearts for the whole world to see Jesus in us.

Children and Youth

This community of faith has vibrant ministries for children and youth including small group settings, social activites, mission projects, music programs, scouting groups, and Sunday School. We want to be sure young people grow up knowing that God created them, God loves them, and God wants to be friends with them. Our programs help young people learn about God through the Bible and what these teachings mean for us today. We also offer opportunities for children and youth to live out their faith in God through meaningful service.

For more information about children's programs (birth – 5th grade), contact Emily Sterling, Director of Children's Ministries, at esterling@fvumc.org esterling@fvumc.org.

For information about youth programs, (6th – 12th grades), contact Pastor Kevin Johnson at kjohnson@fvumc.org.
