Sunday Worship That Feeds the Soul:
Three distinct in-person services and livestreams that meet you where you are, with modern music, traditional liturgy, or a 40-minute online service designed with your schedule in mind.

Discipleship Groups for All Ages:
At Fuquay-Varina UMC, we believe in creating a space where faith and community come together. Faith isn’t just for Sundays! Our childrens, youth, and adult small groups help you build friendships, grow in faith, and find support.

Support for the Journey:
Caring ministries like GriefShare, Stephen Ministry, and caregiver support groups, visitation and prayer teams offer spiritual and emotional support when life gets heavy.

Creative Faith Formation:
Our Worship Arts ministries offer opportunities for all ages and skill levels to serve and worship through music in both traditional and contemporary settings, as well as in the community. At FVUMC, you’ll find a place where all are encouraged to use their gifts to serve and worship God.

Contemporary Worship
Services at 9am and 10am
Uplifting Praise: Our contemporary services feature our praise team and a casual worship style. Both services have the same content, and the 10am worship service is also available by livestream.
Holy Communion is celebrated on first Sundays. Dedicated gluten-free station available.
Children are welcome to attend worship with their families. Infant/Toddler Nursery and Children’s Sunday School (K-5) also available.
Traditional Worship
Service at 11:15am
Flexible Tradition:This is a classic but casual worship experience with hymns, choir, and time-honored traditions. This service is inter-generational, and folks wear whatever makes them most comfortable.
Holy Communion is celebrated weekly. Dedicated gluten-free station available.
Children are welcome to attend worship with their families. Infant/Toddler Nursery and Children’s Sunday School (K-5) also available.
Online Worship
We’re excited to offer several online options for our worshiping family!
Sundays at 9am, The Venue is a 40-minute worship service crafted just for our online worshipping community. This service is unique and personal because it’s live-hosted from our church studio by a pastor or guest host.
At 10am and 11:15am, we livestream from our worship center.

Each week, we also compile a 30-minute worship recap with the sermon and music. These are posted on our Worship page.

Frequently Asked Questions
What time are worship services?
We offer contemporary services at 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM and a traditional service at 11:15 AM. All are welcome, come as you are. We also offer online worship that’s a great way for you to participate and experience all worship styles.
Is there something for my kids on Sunday mornings?
Yes! Children are always welcome in worship. We also offer nursery care (birth to age 2) and Sunday School for children through 5th grade. Youth in 6th grade and higher are encouraged to worship with their families and friends.
What if I haven’t been to church in a while?
You’re in the right place. Many of us came back after time away. You’ll find a warm welcome and no pressure. Just start where you are.
How do I get involved?
Start by joining us on a Sunday morning, then try a connect group or class. If you’re not sure where to begin, we’ll help you find your people.
Do you offer support during tough seasons?
Absolutely. Our care ministries walk with individuals and families through grief, illness, life transitions, and caregiving.
Can I attend if I’m not sure what I believe?
Yes. We believe faith is a journey, not a finish line. Come with your questions. We walk together.
