We’re planning to have tons of fun for all ages including the Trunk-n-Treat, LIVE MUSIC, hay rides, food trucks, inflatables, and more at our Fall Festival on Sunday, October 25, 2026 from 3-6pm. Don’t forget your Halloween costume!
The Fair Trade Store and Quilts & More Market for Missions will also be open for shopping during the festival.
IMPORTANT: Trunk-n-Treat is open 3-5pm, but the event itself continues until 6:00pm.
We’d appreciate everyone pre-registering for the event. This year the registration form also includes options to sign up to host a trunk and also ways you can volunteer for a shift during the event.
Host a trunk for the Trunk-N-Treat
The event runs 3:00-6:00pm, but we’ll be handing out trunk-n-treat goodies from 3:00 – 5:00pm only. This helps ensure our parking lot is clear in time for most folks to head home and also gives everyone time to enjoy the other activities at Fall Fest.
Please bring some candy or other kid-safe item to hand out, and we’ll have some back-up candy ready if you need it. Some trunk hosts also choose to offer fun, kid-friendly games and other activities as part of their display.

As part of our “The Church Has Left the Building” sermon series, we are challenging everyone in our congregation to go out in the community and serve as a tangible expression of the church leaving the building. Our Missions Committee has worked with our community partners, local schools, and other nonprofits in the Fuquay-Varina area to coordinate meaningful serving opportunities in September and October. Sign up as an individual, family, or small group for an opportunity that works for your schedule.
To help our busy church family, FVUMC offers a Wednesday night meal option during the traditional school year. The meal is served in the Centrum, 5:45 – 6:30 pm, and it is catered each week by a local restaurant.
Order every week, or only on occasion – whatever works for you! Participation is optional and open to all, whether or not you are involved in a Wednesday small group.
Need your dinner to go? No problem – just stop by the kitchen to pick it up before you head out!

Did you know FVUMC has a community garden?
The Covenant Community Garden, located behind the church building, is looking for new members and helping hands this season! All ages are welcome to participate, regardless of your “green thumb” (or lack of one) or your level of experience. We provide fresh, organically grown produce to our garden member families and the Fuquay Varina Emergency Food Pantry.
To participate, members pay a $10 annual fee per family, which includes a lidded compost bucket for home use. Each household agrees to work a total of 4 hours a month in the garden. Workdays are on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings.

The All God’s Children program serves children with disabilities and unique learning needs. Children are paired with a “buddy” to support them during church activities, including support with physical mobility needs and participating in activities. No prior training or experience is needed – just bring a willing heart. We welcome adult and youth volunteers. If you are interested, please complete the volunteer form linked below.
