Ways to Serve: Volunteer During the Christmas Season

Advent Packets

• We are again putting together Advent Packets to help each household deepen their experience of the full Advent/Christmas season. They will be available beginning on Sunday, November 30.
• NOTE: If you are part of our online FVUMC family, we will post digital resources on this page as soon as everything is available.

Advent Bible Study 11/30-21/21

• Sundays, 11/30 to 12/21 at 11:15am
• Lean into the hope, peace, joy, and love of Christ this season

Operation Share Toy & Book Drive

• Bring all donations by Thursday, December 11
• Serves local families with elementary-aged children who are not being served by other outreach programs
• New toys, crafts, sports equipment, books, and stocking stuffers for preschool through 5th graders are appreciated
• Drop off your new, unwrapped donations along with extra gift wrap, tape, large felt stockings, and gift tags

Kids NPraise Musical 12/5

• Begins at 7pm
• All ages invited
• Free admission, nursery available
• Everyone is encouraged to bring new toys or books for preschool or elementary age children to support our Operation Share outreach

Fuquay Christmas Parade 12/7

• Meet in church gravel lot at 2:45pm and walk to the parade together
• OR watch the FVUMC livestream at youtube.com/@fvumc

Christmas Cantata 12/14

• Sun, Dec 14 at 10 + 11:15am (services are identical)
• Featuring combined choirs, band, and orchestra
• Nursery care and children’s Sunday School available

Blue Christmas 12/21

• Sunday, Dec. 21 at 5pm in the worship center
• Gather for a time to experience God’s comfort and healing during a season that may not feel festive.
• Anyone from the church or community is welcome to attend
• Nursery care will be available
• NOTE: To respect everyone’s privacy, we do not livestream this service. We will post an online-only version of the Blue Christmas service on 12/22

Church Office Closed
