Unrestricted reserves are currently within the range the Finance Committee sets.
The Finance Committee sets a preferred range of unrestricted reserves for the church to hold. Reserves in this range help us stay stable, remain a reliable community partner to those we serve, and keep our church and preschool operations running. Giving and expenses each follow their own rhythm through the year, so the range serves as a guidepost.
Credit card rewards have covered the equivalent of about 6% of our office supplies budget this year.
Our financial records are reviewed each month by church leadership, and an independent audit is completed each year.
Every gift is applied to the fund or the purpose the giver intended.
