Discovery is coming up January 23-25, 2026!
Discovery is a spiritual formation retreat weekend for middle school students that is primarily led by high school youth, along with a dedicated team of adult volunteers. It is action-packed, high energy, and AWESOME!
Middle schoolers stay overnight at FVUMC on Friday and Saturday, and are surrounded by a community of love and grace all weekend long as they are encouraged to grow in their faith and strengthen their relationships with God and each other. This year's theme is Discovering God's Love Through Everyday Life, and we'll spend the weekend exploring God's love through small groups, worship, and talks given by some of our high school leaders. We'll also play lots of fun games and activities!
Middle School participant registration closes December 29, and space is limited. Scholarships are available.
There are ways for the entire church to support this event - by donating food and by signing up for the weekend prayer vigil (you can pray from home). Links are below.
