Join us for a night of fun, fellowship, worship and teaching featuring guest speaker Mikella Van Dyke, author and founder of Chasing Sacred. Mikella will share a message about worry and anxiety based on Matthew 6:26:

“In exploring Matthew 6:26 on worry, we’ll see that we often believe God thinks too little of us. As a result, we end up carrying burdens we were never meant to bear, bogging us down, and our focus shifts from what truly matters. How can we stay focused on the Kingdom and prioritize what’s important, instead of getting caught in the endless cycle of worry?

Let’s take a closer look at Matthew 6:26, specifically in relation to worry, and examine the surrounding context. How can we apply principles from Inductive Bible Study to this particular verse?”

This Ladies Night is being co-hosted by two of our wonderful women’s small groups at FVUMC, the A.R.I.S.E. Moms’ Group and the PinC Women’s Bible Study Group.

The tentative schedule for the evening is:

5:30-6 pm – Gathering & Social Time

6-7 pm – Dinner

7-7:55 pm – Worship & Message from Mikella

7:55-8:20 pm – Dessert!

8:20-9 pm – Message from Mikella & Closing Song
