Hearts & Hammers

Hearts & Hammers is a local mission outreach of Fuquay-Varina United Methodist Church for loving our neighbors through ramp-building, home repairs, and other projects. We have had volunteers of all ages and skill levels help complete projects throughout the community.

It's exciting to see young people get excited about this work and get their parents involved. We’ve had projects where our middle and high schoolers were coaching elementary-age children on various tasks they learned on summer mission trips. We do require all minors to be accompanied by an adult when serving on a team.

To cover the cost of supplies, we receive financial support from the church’s mission budget, individual donors, and occasionally from recipients who are able to help.
