Support the Youth Mission Journey
Support our Fuquay-Varina UMC Youth Mission Journey as we prepare to Go, Serve, and Love in Western North Carolina.
Our youth are headed to Western NC this summer to engage in meaningful work with the people there and to experience God in ways that traveling and working together can foster. We will be joining a Summer Hybrid Experience with Cross Connection where we will serve with the people of Asheville and surrounding areas by working on safe access home repair projects for 2 days and serving in Asheville for 2 days.
Because team member availability was split between June and July at the interest meeting, we are taking two teams—one traveling June 14-20 and one July 19- 25—so everyone who is able can participate.
Team Registration: Open through Feb. 15
Registration is open for any current youth (6-12th grade), parents, and adult leaders. Registration closes February 15. All adult participants will complete a background check. Through this experience, we will build relationships with families and local organizations as we also build community within our team and foster hearts for serving others.

To build community within our team, help connect our community to this work, and offset some of the expense, we are holding a BBQ Sale. We are taking pre-sale orders and payments below. Distribution will be on: Saturday, February 7, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm OR Sunday, February 8, immediately following morning worship services.
