My favorite thing about my job is visiting and connecting on a very personal level with people in the congregation to learn their stories and also trusting that my presence brings them God's comfort and spiritual healing.

It is awe-inspiring and builds my own faith to see God active and at work in the lives of others, even in the most difficult times. I am answering the call by using my spiritual gifts of compassion, empathy, healing and faith to offer support to those who are sick, grieving, or in distress.

I believe through prayer, listening and presence, I can offer Christ's love, healing and hope to those who are suffering. I am also using my gift of shepherding to connect those with spiritual needs in the church to various programs and opportunities to further their healing and spiritual growth.

My hope is that every person I visit will feel the congregation’s care and God’s love for them.
