Surprisingly, my favorite part of my job is not up here on a Sunday morning. I think a lot of people only see me up here and so it might be easy to make that assumption.

What I prefer to do is hang out with folks at lunch, over coffee, in a living room or on a back porch and share part of our lives with each other.

As the Lead pastor here, sometimes I feel like the CEO of a large non-profit, and that is good and meaningful work to do -- but I really relish the oportunities to get to know folks, and I consider it a great privledge of my work to be invited to walk alongside of them in life's greatest and hardest moments.
