R3 – Family Bathroom Now Available
This summer, we celebrated the opening of our new Family Bathroom. We’re so excited to that this invaluable resource on the adult wing is now open! This facility is designed not only for individuals with wheelchairs, but also to provide options so that family members and other caregivers can assist individuals. This is not “just” a bathroom. Having this resource has already made a deep impact on the flexibility families have in being able to participate in the ministry of the church.
In addition to ADA-compliant facilities including a toilet, transfer shower, and sinks at adult and child wheelchair heights, we also have emergency pull strings to signal in the hallway if help is needed and a full-sized, motorized changing table installed. The changing table’s maximum weight is 440lbs. If your family will be making use of the changing table, we would like to offer you a training session on its use.
