As Christians, we are all called to live out Jesus’ Great Commandment to love God and love neighbor. The Holy Spirit has given each of us spiritual gifts to serve and help make God’s love known in the world around us!
As part of our Answer the Call initiative, the FVUMC Mission Team is challenging our entire church family to go out in the community and Serve in September. We have collaborated with several of our community partners and other local nonprofits to coordinate many different serving opportunities:
- CORRAL Riding Academy
- Covenant Community Garden*
- Crossing All Borders*
- MERCI Center
- Pine Acres Community Center*
- Project Agape*
- Raleigh Rescue Mission
- Sleep in Heavenly Peace
- Society of St. Andrew*
* Family-friendly, all ages welcome
You can use the button below and sign up to serve as an individual or family, with friends, or with your small group. However you choose to do it, you won’t be serving alone!
Our hope is that this September, our entire church family can join together in the good work God is already up to in our community, demonstrating God’s goodness and generosity to everyone.
