FVUMC Ministries
A Place to Grow, Serve, and Belong
At FVUMC, ministries are where faith takes root and community comes alive.
We believe every person has gifts, every person has a story, and God calls us together to make a difference in our community and our world.
Whether you’re raising children, navigating the teenage years, looking for adult connection and spiritual growth, looking for new ways to participate in worship, or feeling called to serve our neighbors, there is a place for you here.
Explore our ministry areas below and discover ways to get connected.
Children and Families
From Sunday morning programming to Kids NPraise, VBS, family events, and faith-building experiences designed for little ones, our Children and Families Ministry nurtures a foundation of love, learning, and belonging.
Kids experience hands-on activities and Bible stories that help them discover God’s love in age-appropriate ways. Parents find support, encouragement, and a community walking through similar seasons.

Youth and Families
Middle and high schoolers need a place to ask big questions, build friendships, and grow in faith — and FVUMC Youth is that place.
Through Lifeline, Life Groups, Pulse, mission opportunities, retreats, and our Rebellations Youth Choir, students experience belonging and spiritual formation in a supportive community.
Our Youth Ministry page includes program descriptions, meeting times, upcoming events, and how students can plug in.
Adult Ministry
Adults at FVUMC gather to grow in faith, find community, and support one another through all stages of life.
Our Adult Ministry includes Core discipleship groups, Bible studies, thriving groups for young adults, small groups for parents, and ongoing opportunities for spiritual formation.
Whether you’re just exploring faith or ready to go deeper, there’s a place for you to connect, learn, and serve.
Our Adult Ministry page shares current groups, gathering times, and next steps for joining.
Music and Worship Arts
Whether you love traditional hymns or contemporary praise music, we have groups for all ages and abilities. Music and Worship ministry is a wonderful place for you to share your gifts and grow your faith. Not sure what's the best fit? Please reach out to our music team at music@fvumc.org.
And, if you'd rather not be front and center, there are quite a few behind-the-scenes ways to serve on our Tech Team or through our Sunday teams including Communion Servers, Ushers, or Greeters.
Missions and Outreach
FVUMC is committed to serving our neighbors — near and far. Our Missions and Outreach Ministry partners with local and global organizations to meet real needs in our community.
Through programs like Hearts and Hammers, Main Street Kitchen, Family Promise, the Community Clothing Closet, and seasonal service opportunities, we put our faith into action.
Our Missions and Outreach page includes details about each ministry, volunteer opportunities, and ways you can make an impact.
