Here at FVUMC, we want to help you grow as a disciple of Jesus and take the next step in your journey of faith. Our Discipleship Pathway is not meant to be prescriptive, but descriptive – a tool to help you identify where you are on your faith journey and what it might look like for you to take the next step. We want to provide you with a map, not a menu – a clear path towards growth, rather than a smorgasbord of options. We want to help you move from wherever you are on the pathway toward ultimately becoming a shepherd who leads others to faith.

Like the Discipleship Pathway, our Leadership Pipeline is a tool to help you identify where you are in your leadership journey and what it might look like to level up as a leader. All of us are called to be shepherds who lead others to faith – disciples who make disciples. God has given each of us gifts to be used for the greater good. In addition, some have been given leadership gifts to lead leaders, ministry areas, and the church. Our vision is to cultivate a culture of servant leadership so that every person at FVUMC is equipped and empowered to use their God-given gifts – to serve the church so the church can serve the world.
